Venice is a painter’s dream—every corner offers something new to capture. This particular scene was no exception. I ventured away from the usual tourist paths, taking a slow, exploratory walk, and stumbled upon this quiet gem completely by chance.
What struck me immediately was the dramatic contrast of light and shadow in the late evening sun. The subject is humble—authentic Venetian dwellings that are often overlooked—but the atmosphere was anything but ordinary.
