About Me
Born on October 16, 1985, in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, I embarked on my artistic journey at Church View College in Doncaster, where I was awarded Distinctions for both my National Diploma in Fine Art and my Foundation in Art and Design. I further honed my skills at Canterbury Christ Church University between 2005 and 2008, graduating with a First Class Degree in Fine Art Painting. My passion for art led me to London, where I obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate from The Royal Drawing School.

I’ve continued to develop a practice rooted in observation, working primarily in oils. My subjects range from intimate family scenes to rural and urban landscapes and portraiture. I’m driven by the act of looking — analysing and understanding the world through paint.
I first exhibited with the Royal Institute of Oil Painters in 2014, and became a full member in 2019. My work has been recognised with several awards, including both First and Second Prize Winsor & Newton Awards for painting, and the Menena Joy Schabe Memorial Award.
